Friends online

Apart from reruns there will be no more 'Friends' on telly as the hugely successful series came to an end in May 2004. So it might be a reassuring thought that my Friends online will be on air indefinitely.

Quite often people ponder on the question what friends are for. Sometimes it's a hard question to answer. But in the case of Friends online the answer is very straightforward: to obtain a higher ranking in Google and other search engines. Therefore and without any ado I proudly present you the cast of my Friends online:

Fred Teunissen - journalist; founder of Fred Teunissen Productions
Inge Toussaint - senior partner Rommelse Communicatieadvies
Mick Halpin - educator; senior QA & localisation engineer at Symantec Dublin
Ronan Le Pennec - Music lover and engaged in the music industry

Fred Teunissen
I know Fred Teunissen since 1999 when he was involved in the launch and production of the IT in business magazine Comm. Eventually Fred became editor in chief of this publication which changed its name into IT in Business. In 2004 Fred founded his own company. Fred Teunissen Productions specializes in ICT publications for Dutch business media. Fred is not only a fine colleague but has become a good friend of mine who's opinion and advice I greatly appreciate.

Inge Toussaint
Inge Toussaint and myself were in the same year when we studied at the School voor de Journalistiek (SvdJ) in Utrecht, the Netherlands. During the very first semester together with our mutual friend Paul Molenaar we had an article published in the weekly current affairs magazine Vrij Nederland. Inge is currently a senior partner in Rommelse Communicatieadvies

Mick Halpin
Mick Halpin, educator and senior QA & localisation engineer at Symantec Dublin is a genius with some daft ideas. Or to be more to the point: Mick is an American with a very imaginative mindset. He must be the only person in the world contemplating the use of vegetables as weapons trying to rob people at an ATM at spinach point. However, Mick made also some smart moves in his life. Marrying his charming Irish wife Carmel for instance. You'll find Mick's poetic and very personal outlook on life on his plot on the world wide web: the DFAGuide. Dutch readers, please note: Mick hates 'dropjes' and suggests that we cloggies put loads of double salted drop into our dykes instead of our index fingers.

Ronan Le Pennec
Ronan Le Pennec worked a couple of months as an internet content analyst at Symantec in Dublin. He proofed to be a fine workmate and has now returned back to France in pursuit of his dream career in music. At present he is working for a record label in Nantes.
